Usona Esperantisto estas ĉefe retgazeto, kies novaj artikoloj aperas rete tuj post la redaktado. Ses fojojn jare, ni arigas la lastajn du monatojn da artikoloj kaj metas ilin en PDF-dosieron por tiuj membroj, kiuj preferas bultenon presitan.

Sekve, se vi legas UE papere (aŭ se vi atendas por elŝuti PDF-dosieron) vi ne ricevas la plej freŝajn novaĵojn. Eble vi eĉ rimarkis anoncojn pri eventoj jam okazintaj, aŭ limdatoj jam forpasintaj. Se vi havas aliron al Interreto, tamen, ekzistas pli bonaj aliroj:

• Kiel ĉiam, vi trovos la plej freŝajn artikolojn (kaj ankaŭ multajn malnovajn) en nia retarĥivo, (Alklaku Bulteno en nia retejo) kie eblas vidi ankaŭ artikolojn laŭ rubriko kaj aŭtoro.

• En 2020 ni komencis aldoni ligilojn al la plej freŝaj artikoloj en nia hejmpaĝo.

• Ni anoncas novajn artikolojn en niaj paĝoj de sociaj komunikiloj: Facebook, Twitter, kaj Reddit.

• Ni eldonas RSS-abonfluojn en nia arĥivo por novaj artikoloj, por novaj anoncoj (ekskluzive de pli longaj artikoloj), kaj por novaj aldonoj al nia kolekto de malnovaj skanaĵoj.

  Se vi ne jam konas RSS, indas esplori ĝin. Per RSS-fluoj vi povas rapide ekscii pri ĝisdatigoj en pluraj retpaĝaroj sen permane revizitadi ilin; vi simple “abonas” fluojn per RSS-legilo, kaj ekde tiam la legilo sciigos al vi, kiam ajn io nova aperos. Ekzistas multaj bonaj legiloj, sed unu el la plej populara estas la senpaga Feedly. Ĝi povas ne nur ĝisdatigi vin pri Usona Esperantisto, sed ankaŭ pri viaj plej ŝatataj ĵurnaloj kaj blogoj.

Usona Esperantisto is primarily a web publication, with new articles appearing online as soon as they’re edited. Six times per year, we take the previous two months’ worth of articles and lump them together into a PDF file for our members who prefer print.

As a result, if you read the newsletter in print (or if you wait to download the PDF file), you aren’t getting the freshest news. In fact, you may have even noticed stale announcements of past events, or deadlines that have already come and gone. If you have access to the Internet, however, you have better options:

• As always, you can find the latest articles (and a lot of older ones, too) in our online archive, (Click Newsletter on our website) where you can also search and sort by column and author.

• Starting in 2020 we’ve begun linking to the latest articles each day on our home page.

• You can also get daily updates on our social media pages in Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit.

• We have RSS feeds in our archive for new articles, for new announcements (excluding longer articles), and for new additions to our collection of back issues scanned from print.

  If you’re not familiar with RSS, it’s a great way to keep up with changes across multiple websites without having to manually visit each one of them repeatedly. You just “subscribe” to a feed in your RSS reader, and it notifies you each time a new article appears. One free and popular RSS reader you may want to try is Feedly. You can use it to stay up to date not only with Usona Esperantisto, but with your favorite newspapers and blogs, too.
