Ni okazigos postkongresan tendumadon en fama Mount Rainier National Park (Nacia Parko Monto Rajnero) de la 16-a ĝis la 19-a de Julio. Tio ĉi estas bonega oportuno plilongigi vian tempon en Esperantujo kaj vidi ne nur la urbon sed ankaŭ la belegan naturon de ĉi tiu parto de la mondo.

Ni tendumos ĉe la tendumejo Cougar Rock, proks. du horojn for de la kongresejo aŭte (100 mejloj). La tendumejo situas 3180 futojn super la marnivelo. Someroj en la parko estas sekaj kaj malvarmetaj, kun temperaturoj ĝenerale inter 60-80°F. La vetero en la parko tamen povas varii, do vizitantoj venu pretaj.

Ni havos grupan tendumejon kun trinkebla akvo, akvopelaj necesejoj kaj pikniktabloj. Somere la parko prezentas multajn oportunojn marŝi, rokogrimpi kaj vidi naturajn vidindaĵojn kiel arbarojn, akvofalojn kaj florojn. La tendumejo havas ankaŭ amfiteatron, kie oni prezentas informajn programojn.

Se vi alvenos aviadile (aŭ se vi simple malofte tendumas), ni povos helpi vin pruntepreni, lui aŭ alimaniere akiri la bezonatajn ekipaĵojn por la sperto. Ni ankaŭ organizos kunveturadon al kaj de la tendumejo kaj bonvenigas vian helpon pri tio.

We’re having a post-congress camping trip in the famous Mt. Rainier National Park from July 16 until July 19. This is a great opportunity to extend your time in Esperantujo and see not only the city but also the beautiful natural environment in this part of the world.

We’ll be camping at the Cougar Rock campground, about two hours from the congress by car (100 mi.). The campground is at 3,180 ft. above sea level. Summers in the park are dry and cool, with temperatures generally between 60-80°F. The weather in the park can vary, so visitors should come prepared.

We’ll have a group campsite with drinkable water, flush toilets, and picnic tables. In the summer the park offers lots of opportunities for hiking, rock climbing, and viewing natural wonders, including forests, waterfalls, and wildflowers. The campground also has an amphitheater where educational programs are offered.

If you’re coming by plane (or if you just don’t go camping that often), we can help you borrow, rent, or acquire the equipment needed for the experience. We’ll also organize transportation to and from the campground and appreciate any help you can provide.

This event is separate from the congress and has its own registration. Anyone who is interested should fill out the registration form and come camping with us!
