GOOD NEWS: Letters of inquiry continue to arrive from all parts of the U.S.,
20 to 50 per day bringing our total (incl. Jen) response to Newspaper and
Radio Publicity to 20,000 letters soon.
Keep this interest alive by asking your local newspapers who have not yet
published the U.P.I. Article to do so immediately.
ESPERANTO MUST BECOME A HOUSEHOLD WORD.  You can help to make it so:
Visit your local libraries in search of any kind of Experanto material. Talk
to the librarian, insist on their getting books about the movement, Zamenhof,
as well as textbooks.  BE PERSISTENT!  SEND YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS ALSO!
Put a small add in your newspaper, example: "EXPERANTO will be WORLD LANGUAGE
soon. For information call. . . (or write . . .) giving your phone number or
address.
Talk to your Church and Clubs about Esperanto (write to EIC for propaganda
material), display the enclosed UNESCO article on your organization's
bulletin board.
Talk to your friends and collegues about Experanto and persuade them to join
ELNA— even if they do not want to learn Esperanto. We need supporters, too!
Make March the "MAKE A MEMBER MONTH."
WRITE TO YOUR CONGRESSMEN TO SUPPORT CONGRESSIONAL BILL H.R. 12406, proposed
by Rep. William S. Moorhead of Penna. The bill would make possible a NATIONAL
HUMANITIES FOUNDATION which would provide funds for graduate and post-graduate
studies that could be applied to study and research of Esperanto.
Mrs. Louise Schmidt, Intern. Cathl. Esperanto Assoc, 38 Marcy Place, Bronx,
N.Y. 10452, reminds us to send letters to Pope Paul to ask the Vatican to
broadcast in Esperanto. She will also send out petition forms for signature
collection, on request.
