  • Worldwide Esperanto Exam at Stanford University
On June 4th, 2016, Stanford University hosted a local exam session of the Worldwide Esperanto Exam Day. The participants joined the ranks of more than 1500 Esperanto-speakers worldwide who have taken the Council of Europe’s international foreign language exams (KER). These exams provide a certified language diploma, accepted officially throughout Europe, in one of three levels: basic, intermediate & advanced. Since 2008, Esperanto-speakers in more than 60 countries have successfully passed the exam. The KER exam is offered at three levels: B1 (basic), B2 (intermediate), and C1 (advanced). The KER web pages at edukado.net offer a complete description of the exam, how it is graded, and the different material covered at each level. If you are interested in participating in next year’s Stanford University exam session, please contact amanda_higley ĉe yahoo punkto com by April 1st, 2017.
